TVC for Indonesia, great fun trying to create a war torn village in the suburbs of Jakarta!

TVC from Indonesia, this was a really fun job to work on. We had to create a war torn looking village, and the challenge was to portray a sense of menace and danger without actually giving these guys weapons/ The original script had the bad guys as military but we realised straight away that would cause all sorts of headaches for the client so I suggested we try to make it appear as if they are from a militia. The lead guy is a local Soap Star who sussed me out very carefully in the pre-pro to make sure I wasn’t going to make him look stupid – he did a terrific job and was a delight to work with.

Piece created for Australian elections in 2005, got another run online during last US elections - sadly still relevant

Created for the 2005 Australian elections to vent my frustration at the idea of the return of the incumbent party again.
Got another lease of life on-line during the last US elections, and the message is still relevant.
